Hybrid Battery Swap provides 4th generation Toyota Prius hybrid battery replacement for model years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. The Gen 4 Prius introduced a lower, sportier profile and further efficiency improvements, but the NiMH high-voltage battery is still subject to degradation over time — particularly in vehicles used for rideshare, high-mileage commuting, or operation in hot climates.
We offer 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year coverage plans for the Gen 4 Prius. All plans include unlimited-mileage coverage during the warranty term. The 5-year plan uses new OEM-style NiMH cells for drivers who plan to keep the vehicle long-term. The 3-year plan is our most popular option for Gen 4 owners who want strong mid-range protection.

What's a P0A80 code on my Prius?
P0A80 is the OBD-II code for 'Replace Hybrid Battery Pack.' It means the hybrid control module has detected that one or more cells in the high-voltage battery are out of spec. It's the most common reason customers come to us. We diagnose first — sometimes it's a related component (cooling fan, 12V battery) and not the pack itself.
Is mobile installation cheaper than coming to your shop?
