Do you offer mobile installation for the CR-Z hybrid battery?
Yes. Mobile installation is available across California. Our technician comes to your home, office, or workplace and installs the battery on-site. Most coupe jobs are done in a single visit.
What's a P0A80 code on my CR-Z?
P0A80 is the OBD-II code for 'Replace Hybrid Battery Pack.' It means the hybrid control module has detected that one or more cells in the high-voltage battery are out of spec. It's the most common reason customers come to us. We diagnose first — sometimes it's a related component (cooling fan, 12V battery) and not the pack itself.
Is mobile installation cheaper than coming to your shop?
Bringing the coupe to one of our three shops (Fairfield CA, Santa Fe Springs CA, Auburn WA) skips the travel fee. Mobile installation adds a travel charge based on distance from the nearest shop. We confirm the total before scheduling.
